These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sun Aesthetic Clinic website at sunaesthetic.com (the “Site”) and any consultation requests, booking interactions, or communications you submit through it. The Terms also outline the booking, cancellation, and payment expectations that apply to aesthetic services we provide in Bellevue, Washington. By using the Site or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Plain-English Summary

This page is the legal contract between you and Sun Aesthetic Clinic for use of our website. In plain English: you may browse our pages, request a consultation, and contact us. You may not scrape the Site, post unlawful content, or treat anything on these pages as medical advice. Our liability for website-related issues is capped at one hundred dollars ($100); medical care provided in the clinic is governed separately by the informed-consent documents you sign before treatment. Washington State law governs these Terms, and disputes are heard in King County, Washington.

1. Who We Are

Sun Aesthetic Clinic is a Washington-State medical spa located at 15600 NE 8th St, Suite A-8, Bellevue, WA 98008, telephone (206) 556-6478. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Jay Sun, MD, who serves as Owner and Medical Director and supervises all clinical care delivered at the clinic. In these Terms, “Sun Aesthetic Clinic,” “the practice,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sun Aesthetic Clinic and its owners, providers, employees, contractors, and affiliates. “You” and “your” refer to the individual accessing the Site or booking an appointment.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, submitting a consultation request, booking an appointment, or otherwise interacting with our online systems, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a minor for whom you have legal guardianship, you accept these Terms on that minor’s behalf and represent that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree to any portion of these Terms, your only recourse is to discontinue use of the Site.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site to learn about our services, request a consultation, contact the practice, view publicly available content, and access patient-facing resources we publish. You agree that you will NOT:

• Use the Site in violation of any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our booking systems, our patient records, or any server, database, or network connected to the Site.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or breach any security or authentication measure.
• Submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringing, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, including any Sun Aesthetic Clinic provider or staff member.
• Use automated tools — including crawlers, scrapers, bots, or large-language-model harvesters — to access, index, mine, or republish Site content without our prior written permission.
• Use the Site to send unsolicited commercial communications, spam, or chain messages.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Site or its supporting infrastructure.
• Use any portion of the Site, including treatment descriptions or photography, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model without our prior written permission.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to anyone who uses the Site in violation of these Terms, without notice and without liability.

4. Consultation Requests and Bookings

The Site allows you to request a consultation or appointment through our online booking widget or by contacting us by phone, email, or contact form. A request submitted through the Site is an inquiry only and does NOT constitute a confirmed appointment. Appointments are confirmed only after our patient-coordinator team has reached out and you have received a written or verbal confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any consultation request or appointment at our discretion, including where the requested service is not clinically appropriate for you.

Your first consultation with Sun Aesthetic Clinic is complimentary. Subsequent treatments, procedures, and follow-up visits are scheduled at the rates quoted to you in writing during consultation or set forth in your treatment plan.

5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Standard verbiage — flagged for client review and confirmation during operational handoff. The clinic may adopt a different schedule of fees; the controlling policy will be the one provided to you at booking.

To respect the time of our clinical team and other patients, the following standard policy applies to confirmed appointments:

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance: no charge.
• Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment: may be subject to a cancellation fee, set at the practice’s discretion.
• No-shows (missed appointments without notice): may be subject to a no-show fee equal to all or part of the scheduled treatment cost.
• Repeat late cancellations or no-shows: may result in a credit-card-required-at-booking policy or, in rare cases, declination of further appointments.

The complimentary first consultation is exempt from cancellation fees; we still appreciate 24-hour notice when possible.

6. Treatment Plans and Pricing

Treatment plans are developed during consultation and provided to you in writing before any procedure is scheduled. Pricing for individual services and product purchases is provided during consultation. We do not publish service rates on the Site because appropriate pricing depends on the protocol designed for your specific concerns, anatomy, and goals. Pricing quoted at consultation is honored for a reasonable period (typically thirty (30) days) unless otherwise specified in your written treatment plan. Pricing for retail products and skincare is set at the time of sale.

7. No Medical Advice — Important Disclaimer

The Sun Aesthetic Clinic website is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for in-person medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this Site — including service descriptions, treatment overviews, before-and-after imagery, frequently asked questions, blog posts, or responses sent through our contact form or online booking system — constitutes medical advice, a medical diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or the practice of medicine. No content on this Site is intended to create, and the use of this Site does not create, a doctor-patient, provider-patient, or any other professional treatment relationship between you and Sun Aesthetic Clinic, Dr. Jay Sun, or any Sun Aesthetic Clinic provider.

A doctor-patient relationship is established only after (a) you attend an in-person consultation at our Bellevue clinic, (b) a qualified Sun Aesthetic Clinic provider evaluates your medical history and treatment goals, and (c) you sign treatment-specific informed-consent documentation governing the proposed care.

Aesthetic outcomes vary by patient, anatomy, skin type, medical history, treatment adherence, and biology, and we make no representation, guarantee, or warranty as to any specific aesthetic result. Before-and-after photographs displayed on the Site depict individual outcomes and are not predictive of the results you may experience.

Do NOT use this Site, our contact form, our online booking system, email, social media, or text messages to (a) request medical advice, (b) report a medical emergency, or (c) request urgent clinical guidance. For any urgent medical concern, contact your primary care provider, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency department. If you believe you are experiencing a complication following an in-clinic procedure, follow the after-care instructions provided to you at the time of treatment and contact the clinic at (206) 556-6478 during business hours.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, headlines, copy, page layouts, photography of our space and providers, before-and-after imagery (used with patient consent), illustrations, logos, the “Sun Aesthetic Clinic” name and marks, video, audio, treatment-plan templates, and the selection, arrangement, and compilation of the foregoing — is the property of Sun Aesthetic Clinic or used with the permission of its owner and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and view the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, translate, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, create derivative works of, sell, license, or otherwise exploit the Site or any portion of its content for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. User Submissions

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, photographs, intake-form responses, or other content (collectively, “User Submissions”), you grant Sun Aesthetic Clinic a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, and reproduce that content within the practice for purposes including (a) maintaining your patient chart, (b) coordinating your care, and (c) improving our internal operations. We will NOT publish patient photographs, testimonials, reviews, or identifying information publicly — including on social media, in marketing materials, or on this Site — without your separate, written, treatment-specific consent. You represent and warrant that any User Submission is yours to share and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

10. Third-Party Links, Embeds, and Services

The Site may include links, embeds, pixels, or integrations from third-party services, including (without limitation) Google (search, reviews, maps, analytics, and ads-conversion measurement), Meta / Instagram, our online booking provider, our review-syndication provider, and (when published) our affiliated surgical practice. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, practices, or performance of any third-party service. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and that third party.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that (a) the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) the results obtained from use of the Site will be accurate or reliable; (c) any errors in the Site will be corrected; or (d) the Site or its supporting servers are free of viruses, worms, trojans, or other harmful components. Your use of the Site is at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in such jurisdictions, the foregoing exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY WASHINGTON LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SUN AESTHETIC CLINIC, ITS OWNERS, PROVIDERS, STAFF, CONTRACTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Carve-out for in-clinic medical care. This Section 12 governs only your use of the Site. It does NOT limit or modify any rights or remedies you may have arising out of in-clinic medical or aesthetic care, which is governed separately by the informed-consent documentation you sign before treatment and by applicable Washington medical-malpractice law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sun Aesthetic Clinic and its owners, providers, staff, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or related to (a) your access to or use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or (d) any User Submission you provide. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with our defense.

14. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive — including Sections 7 (No Medical Advice), 8 (Intellectual Property), 9 (User Submissions), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), and 15 (Governing Law and Venue) — will survive.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and Sun Aesthetic Clinic agree that any action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

16. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if it cannot be so modified, severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practice, our services, applicable law, or industry standards. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your only recourse is to discontinue use of the Site.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any treatment-specific informed-consent documentation you sign at the clinic, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sun Aesthetic Clinic concerning your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals on that subject.
