Sun Aesthetic Clinic
Investment

Patient investment, plainly explained.

Sun Aesthetic Clinic treats pricing as an outcome of the protocol your anatomy needs — not a menu line item.

Investment, Not Itemization

Pricing is shared in consultation.

Our pricing is a function of the protocol your anatomy actually needs — not a menu line item. We share specifics during your complimentary consultation, where every cost is contextualized inside the plan it belongs to. Financing options are available for protocols of greater scope.

Begin Here

Begin with a complimentary consultation.

Every patient relationship at Sun Aesthetic Clinic begins with a complimentary consultation. We review your concerns, evaluate your anatomy, and outline a therapeutic protocol scaled to your goals — never a same-day-pressure decision.

Aesthetic protocols at Sun Aesthetic Clinic are planned across sessions and modalities — a single visit rarely completes the picture. This page outlines how patients structure the financial side of that plan: patient financing through Care Credit and Cherry, HSA/FSA-eligible protocols where applicable, and a complimentary consultation that includes the payment-plan walkthrough.

How We Think About Financing

Protocol-driven aesthetic care often spans several sessions and modalities. Payment plans exist so patients can commit to the full protocol rather than abbreviate it mid-course to fit a single-payment window. The clinic’s posture is advisory: we recommend what the anatomy and the medical conversation call for, then walk through the payment surfaces that make that recommendation workable.

Pricing is reviewed in your complimentary consultation rather than published on this page — investment ranges are anatomically scaled, so a written treatment plan is the honest format. You leave the consultation with that plan in hand, no obligation to proceed.

Payment Options at a Glance

The clinic accepts four payment surfaces, summarized here and detailed below.

  • Major cards. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover at the front desk and through our patient portal.
  • HSA/FSA accounts. Where the protocol is HSA/FSA-eligible under your plan’s rules, the clinic provides the documentation your administrator requires. See the HSA/FSA section below for the eligibility nuance.
  • Care Credit financing. A patient-financing program widely used across medical and aesthetic practices. Application and terms are handled by Care Credit directly.
  • Cherry installment plans. A patient-financing program designed around the medical and aesthetic context. Application and terms are handled by Cherry directly.

The consultation walks through which surfaces fit your protocol and your timeline.

Care Credit Financing

Care Credit is a patient-financing program used by medical, dental, and aesthetic practices across the United States. Patients apply directly with Care Credit — application, credit decision, and repayment terms are set by the lender, not by the clinic. Terms vary by applicant and by program tier and are documented on the Care Credit application itself.

At Sun Aesthetic, Care Credit is most commonly applied to multi-session protocols where patients prefer to spread investment across the protocol’s clinical timeline. Bring your approval confirmation to the consultation and the patient coordinator will align the session schedule with your repayment plan.

Cherry Installment Plans

Cherry is a patient-financing program built around the medical-aesthetic context. The application flow is structured for in-office and at-home use, and the soft-pull preview lets prospective patients see indicative terms without affecting their credit score. As with Care Credit, application, credit decision, and repayment terms are handled by Cherry directly.

Patients often select Cherry when they prefer a shorter application flow or a different repayment cadence than Care Credit. The consultation will note which partner fits the protocol and timeline — though the choice is yours.

HSA / FSA Eligibility

A note of honesty: most aesthetic treatments are not HSA/FSA-eligible. The IRS cosmetic exclusion under IRC §213(d) excludes purely cosmetic procedures — neuromodulator for line softening, dermal filler for volume restoration, and most aesthetic laser work fall under that exclusion.

Some treatments may be HSA/FSA-eligible when prescribed for a documented medical condition — IPL for rosacea, certain dermatology-adjacent laser protocols, and selected wellness-branch infusions with a documented medical indication. Eligibility is determined by your plan administrator, not by the clinic. When a protocol qualifies, we provide the clinical documentation your administrator will request: a treatment note, an itemized receipt with diagnostic context, and a physician’s letter where appropriate.

To confirm whether a specific protocol qualifies under your plan, bring the question to the consultation and we’ll prepare the documentation alongside the treatment plan.

What’s Included in a Complimentary Consultation

The consultation is where the protocol, the pricing, and the financing integrate. No charge for the consultation, no obligation to proceed, no scripted upsell.

  • Provider time. A clinician — surgeon-led on the MedSpa side, physician-supervised on the Wellness side — reviews your concerns, history, and goals.
  • Anatomical review. An honest read of what the anatomy is doing and what modalities are appropriate.
  • Protocol recommendation. A sequenced plan — sometimes a single modality, often a layered approach across several visits.
  • Written treatment plan. Itemized investment ranges per session and per modality.
  • Payment-plan walkthrough. Which surfaces apply, what Care Credit and Cherry look like for the specific protocol, whether any portion may be HSA/FSA-eligible.

The treatment plan is yours to take home. Many patients book a follow-up review before scheduling the first session.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is pricing presented? Pricing is reviewed during your complimentary consultation, in a written treatment plan that itemizes investment ranges by session and by modality. We don’t publish a price list because protocols are anatomically scaled.

Is there a financing application at the clinic? Care Credit and Cherry are applied for directly with each lender. Many patients apply at home before the consultation; others apply at the front desk after the treatment plan is written.

Do you accept HSA/FSA? Yes, for protocols that qualify under your plan’s rules. Most aesthetic protocols don’t qualify (cosmetic exclusion); some medical-indication treatments may. Eligibility is determined by your plan administrator.

Care Credit or Cherry — which should I choose? Both are reputable patient-financing programs and both are accepted at the clinic. Care Credit has a longer institutional history; Cherry has a shorter, mobile application flow with a soft-pull preview. The consultation will note which fits the protocol — the choice is yours.

What is the refund policy? Treatments rendered are not refundable, as is standard in the medical-aesthetic field. Pre-paid protocol balances not yet rendered can be applied to other clinically appropriate treatments at the clinic.

A Note on Whom You’re Financing Care With

Sun Aesthetic Clinic is a credentialed medical practice. The MedSpa branch is surgeon-led by Albert Yang, MD — fellowship-trained in facial plastic surgery (AAFPRS). The Wellness branch is physician-supervised by Dr. Jay Sun, MD, the clinic’s medical director. Both physicians hold active Washington State medical licensure; devices and protocols are operated by certified clinicians.

Plan the Protocol First, Then the Payment

The honest sequence is protocol first, payment second. The complimentary consultation produces the written treatment plan that lets the payment conversation be specific rather than speculative.
